Updates-21 October
One of my most memorable experience today is celebrating Arathi's birthday. We ordered pizza and chit-chatted for almost an hour. Surprisingly, we managed to persuade her to come to the venue without her knowing that there will be a surprise but how? Reshi called Vivien and said there's a moral class at that time(who would want to have a moral class at night?). Arathi panicked(Vivien said) and ran down from the dormitory straight to the class. We had prepared a pink fluffy unicorn(her favourite?) for her. We hang it on the fan and let her retrieve it. After that we ate some pizzas.

CAMP!
Throughout my three days at the Desa Selesa Camp, the experience there not only brought me memories but also I learn many new things for the activities that I participated.
During the first day, we played some games first before going for a night walk around a plantation. At first, I was like why on earth would they bring us to a plantation for a walk at night? All of a sudden, I was told to stand at one place and I nodded only. When I looked back, no one was there. Where are all my friends? I assume that this is one of the activities to train our braveness. For nearly an hour, I walked around enjoying the sounds from the nature. From quite a near distance, I saw a dark shadow in front of me and I was scared initially. At first I wanted to sleep but then that shadow really worried me. Luckily, Mr Mior and Mr Fadzil passed by and I asked them 'Is there a human in front there?' and they said yes. It was a relief for me. I squatted there thinking on what I need to do after this. Then, the main facilitator for that program then gathered all of us and we walked back to our dormitory. Then on that day itself, teams are given an egg(to be kept in a good condition throughout the program) and also to write tenders to Mr Faizel(the head) so that groups can earn money. We needed at least $2500. For my team, we applied for a tender to give a so called conclusion for each 'talk'. For all 4 times, I was the representative. To me, I had to be brave in order to help my team to obtain that huge amount of money(we earned $1200 from there). I wrote the tender till 3am and woke up at around 6.30am at the next morning.
Next morning, I was grateful to have my friend to wake me up to bath(we can hardly find water there). The water was cold and the bath made me feel fresh and energetic. We had activities like exercise, jungle trekking, river crossing and obstacle(it's the name of that game). The activity that I liked the most is the obstacle game where we need to go to 5 checkpoints(Under the rain!) and perform numerous tasks. My team was quite slow and initially I thought that we were going to fail. Surprisingly after finishing the fifth and final task, we were told that we were the first team to arrive. We congratulated each other after that. Our group got the tender to arrange the Cultural Night event where we students are required to perform something. Time nearly hampered our whole plan. We need to decorate the hall as well as practice our drama. We quickly get everything done and luckily our drama went smoothly and the event went on smoothly as well.
Next day, we had an activity called Breaking Square before our closing ceremony. Students decorated the hall with things from the nature ranging from banana leaves to durians. During the closing ceremony, all of us were motivated by the speeches given. At 2pm, all of us departed that place back to our campus in Bangi. I really enjoyed that camp and I hope to participate in those camps in the future.

Summary of my life for 10 days
Sorry for being slow in updating my blog. I was so busy all the time that I totally forgot to update it till my friend, Karthigeyan reminded me to update my blog. Maybe it's because I am not used to blogging but nevertheless, I will try to summarize everything in one post. To be honest, nothing significant really happened last week. On Tuesday, we students had a forum with the management where students were given a chance to ask questions related to everything in here. Then on Thursday, I participated in my first HOT(Hall of Thoughts) and I actually spoke in front of everyone! Supposedly on Friday, many students were allowed to go back due to the Hari Raya Haji on the following Tuesday. However, I was required to take the IMO Selection Test in Saturday. On Saturday itself, I took the test and to be honest, I managed to solve only two out of five problems given in 3 hours 30 minutes. Of course I am not satisfied with myself, but what to do? I have tried my best to solve every problems. After the test, I immediately went back home to 'enjoy' my holidays. I wouldn't call it holiday because I was given a bunch of assignments to be completed. On Saturday itself, I visited my grandparents in Subang Jaya and then went to have dinner with my family. Nothing much really happened on that day.
On Sunday, I would say I completed only like 15% of my assignments just because I went out for lunch and spend the whole day outside. Monday is the day where I completed most of my assignments but still I haven't completed everything yet. I don't know why I can't finish everything in 3 days time at home when in here, I can finish most of my tasks. Maybe because the food back at home is better. On Tuesday itself, I went back to my hostel and completed my homework there. Quizzes are coming but I haven't not studied anything yet for my Biology, Physics and Mathematics quiz. I am actually revising my Biology in library right now, so that's all for now. Will write again tomorrow.

Usual Life
Hello guys and girls. Now I would like to write on what happened yesterday. Basically after my english class yesterday, I went to the Dining Hall to have my teatime. I ate two curry puffs and went to my K1 to have my history class. The whole class waited for there for our teacher to come but she wasn't here I guess, so after 11.30, we went to K4 to have our additional mathematics class with Pn.Nadiah. Yesterday's topic was tough(Differentiation) and I need to go back to revise to ensure that I can understand the concept. After reading the revision book for hours, I managed to understand the concept of Differentiation. After that class, I went to K3 to have my Malay Language class where all of my class' students are required to do exercise from a worksheet given by Cik Atie. After that, I had my lunch and went to the Dining Hall at 3pm again to discuss on my group's documentary for history. At 5pm, I thought that I could play badminton in the multipurpose hall but the seniors are using it. After exercising, I went to the Dining Hall to have my dinner and then to my class after that. In the class, I finished my homework given by teachers. At around 9pm, surprisingly, Mr Fadzil called every student to gather in front of the hall and it's because of someone calling the Fire and Rescue Team. After that, I went back to my class again until 11pm. Now, I am writing this post in the English Language Lab.

Everything for the Past 7 days
Hello there. It's been since 7-8 days ago I last updated my blog. Camps, programs all in my schedule. Let me start from the day where all PERMATApintar students went for a co-curricular camp in Hulu Langat. Before the reaching there, I thought that that place would be like a resort or like a suitable camping site. To my surprise, once we reach there, that place was not as nice as I thought but still I was amazed by the river next to our camp site. When it's time to bath, I looked for the toilet everywhere and guess what, instructors told us that there's one toilet within a walking distance from our campsite and that toilet was smelly and dirty. Left without any choices, everyone bathed in the river and for me, I wasn't sure whether to bath in the river or not because I am not sure of the cleanliness of the water. But what to do since that's the only place where we can clean ourself. Everyone jumped into the river and 'bathed' there. I don't call it bathing because I don't think that the water is clean and it's more to soaking ourselves in water to cool down and relax. For the food, it was okay. Since I am in the Red Crescent Society, we were briefed on how to perform first-aid and CPR as well as on what to do during an emergency like earthquake and flood. The activity that I enjoyed the most throughout that camp is jungle trekking. We have two guides(ex-army) who brought us around the jungle. There were one spot where we need to cross the river with our shoes tied to our legs. And of course our shoes got wet, but what can we do since that's the only way to cross the river. There's once spot where the road was so steep that we need to hold each other's hands. I can't write much on my experience there because if I write everything, it would be two to three pages long. As soon as we reach back our hostel, many of the students started to vomit and even my neighbour vomited in front of my room. I was shocked but I thought that he vomited because of food poisoning. As time goes by, many of us started to vomit, high fever, headache as well as having diarrhoea. I knew that there's something wrong. Rumours began to spread that it was rat urine disease from the river. And guess what, when I check from the internet , it is true that that river, Sungai Congkak is famous for causing rat uring disease. Symptoms shown by student are almost the same. Students began going to Pusat Kesihatan and only given a small quantity of medicine. I really pity them. Some even had to go to the hospital for further treatment. But as of now where I am writing this blog post, most of us has completely recovered. That experience really made me not to go to other camps in the future unless that campsite is certified clean. Coincidentally, the water in our campus have some sort of weird smell and people said that it's contaminated. Luckily at night water tankers arrive to supply water to us.
Now let me talk of my experience throughout the Nobelist Mindset Programme. Of course throughout the programme, I enjoy the food where our cafe don't serve usually. But that's not the most important thing. The most important thing is the experience and knowledge gained throughout the whole programme. From the first day, my instructor, Ms Stephanie Wortel has been so passionate in teaching all of us. We learned various knowledge as well as qualities needed by us to be a Nobel laureate. Being a Nobel laureate is not as easy as ABC but we need to have good communications skill, good knowledge in science as well as be determined and passionate on what we are doing. I learned many things and if you want to know more you can PM me in Facebook because it will be a long story if I type it out here. One of the memorable experiences I had is meeting Sir Richard 'Rich' Roberts, the 1993 Nobel Prize winner in Physiology/Medicine. He liked to be called Rich, that is why I put two ' up there. Other than that, I was very lucky to meet a few young scientists from various universities around Malaysia. They really motivated me to strive harder to be a successful person in the future. On Friday evening, participants of Nobelist Mindset Program 2 were given a chance to speak to professors who have been given grants in doing their researches and people from the Ministry of Education. I can improve my communications skill from that small event. After that, I went back since there's no water around our campus. Now, I am writing this from the language lab in our school. See you tomorrow where I will update my blog.

Speed!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Guess what, today was my first time in one week having breakfast in my room. And that's because I need to study for my add math quiz. Guess what, that add math quiz really screwed many people up not that because it's hard but it's because there are so many questions such that not many people could finish it on time. There's one question which I recounted numerous times to ensure that I did nothing wrong because I got an illogical answer. And I learnt my lesson. Even if that question is wrong or anything, write something rather than leaving a blank space. And I got back my linear algebra paper today as well. Not bad for a newbie taking that paper =D .And I spent whole day practicing my typing speed. Thanks to someone who introduced that to me. My maximum speed was 90 Words per Minute. And that was fast. Hopefully by next month I can achieve 100 WPM. I cycled around the school in the evening as well and played softball(not that good but there are friends who are willing to teach me). And tomorrow, I am going to a 3 day 2 nights camp in Sungai Congkak(Somewhere in Hulu Langat I guess). So, don't expect me to update this blog for three to four days(If I am tired on Sunday, then I guess I might only update on Monday). Now, doing revision while training my typing speed in my classroom.
